Fellowship is the fun gathering together of the members of Lisbon Church. And you never know what will happen next.
After worship, we gather in the fellowship area at 11:00 am for catching up while enjoying delectable treats brought from home to share.
But fellowship doesn’t just happen on Sunday mornings. You can find members walking together during the week, playing cards with residents at Sterling House, checking up on each other with friendly phone calls, and even sending cards.
Throughout the year, we have fun activities:
Brewers’ game – we tailgate in the church parking lot, and then take a bus to the game and cheer on the Brewers.
We participate twice a month with the CCOS to host free community dinners held at St. James church! It’s always a good time.
Yearly we participate in the SOS Chili Cookoff – whether our members submit an entry in the contest or we show up to help out. A great community event to support our SOS.
The 3rd Saturday of every month we volunteer at the SOS Food Pantry. We stock shelves and help our neighbors receive the groceries they need through donations of the community.
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month we collect JELLO during our service to donate to the SOS food pantry. Our goal is 100 boxes every month to help support the needs in our community.
On the 2nd Sunday of each month, we celebrate that month’s birthdays and wedding anniversaries.
Outdoor worship service and picnic – held on a farm! Enjoy!
